Karnidale is the Southern Hemisphere’s largest circus festival — two days of jaw-dropping acrobatics, and seriously good music, set among the towering karri forests of Western Australia’s South West.

We’re now taking applications from bands, solo artists, and musical acts who want to be part of the 2027 festival. Whether you’re laying down roots grooves at sunset, getting a tent full of people moving at midnight, or setting the vibe for a lazy Sunday morning — we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

Karnidale isn’t your average festival lineup. Our stages sit inside and alongside our fleet of big tops, from intimate 50-seat spaces to our grand venues holding hundreds. The music programme weaves through the entire festival — so we’re after a diverse mix of sounds and energy levels.

We’re especially keen on:

• Acts that thrive in up-close, high-energy tent environments
• Artists who can read a crowd and roll with the festival’s spontaneous spirit
• Any genre — from folk and roots to electronic, funk, world music, jazz, or anything in between
• Solo artists, duos, and full bands
