Volunteer Applications – open on 1st July
During the month of January, a circus village emerges.
A 2-week circus training project – the Lunar Circus International Training Project followed by a 2 day public circus festival – Karnidale.
The project takes place on a purpose-built site with 6 big tops and many other quirky venues. Everyone camps and eats on site for the duration and enjoys the beauty of the natural landscape, the incredible communal atmosphere and safe and supportive feeling of fellow artists,crew, participants and volunteers. Our Volunteers are a key part of the International Training Project and we look forward to your applications.
We have many different volunteer roles that we are looking to recruit for The International Training Project 2027:
Cafe, Pizza, Restaurant chefs, Kitchen Hands, Housekeeping, Barista, Bar tenders, Breakfast Cafe,Food server, dishwashers and Trade skills
All of these roles are for the for the duration of the International Training project and start on Sunday 3rd January – Sunday 17th January. Volunteers work for 5 hours per day and in return they receive:
- Camping on the ITP site
- 3 Meals per day
- Free access to nightly Cabarets during the ITP
- Free access to Yoga classes and all dance classes, plus an end of day handstand class each day.
- Access to Volunteers training classes ( 5 different disciplines each day)
- Festival Weekend Ticket
We also have volunteer positions for the Festival Weekend Only.
Volunteers work for 3 hours per day over the festival weekend in exchange for :
- A Weekend festival ticket.
- Camping in the public festival camping area
All volunteers must pay a deposit of the price of a festival ticket and this will then be refunded after the festival weekend.
